New code has been added to the Phosys system site that can aid you with your Blog or help publish an RSS Feed within your web site. The latest items from your Blog or news items of interest to your customers can now be automatically displayed and updated on your site.
There are three ways to display the feed – a simple linked list (like a menu), a page of titles, synopsis and links back to the main story (like a news page) or as a menu with “popup” stories. Read the rest of this entry »
This morning we uploaded a minor change to the Checkout system, and a new feature that will become available in your web site.
1. Cheque Payments
This is just a minor change to the text when a customer decides to pay by Cheque. We’ve added the words “N.B. Orders will not be despatched until your cheque has cleared” to the bottom of the payment details screen when they choose this method.
2. Page Jump Menu
We now have a better method of navigating around the pages when you have a lot of images in an album. It has two modes, both of which are illustrated below. Read the rest of this entry »
We’ve uploaded new code this morning so that “dropdown” submenus can automatically be added to menus. These can link to pages within your site, external sites, or even be automatically to display webpages that are in a specific category.
In response to our customers requests, we now show the payment method and any notes from the purchaser on the email order notifications from the Phosys basket.
Another new feature that has been added is the “Close on Click” feature for our customers who use popup windows:- whilst not eliminating the potential for web users to copy un-watermarked images, right clicking a photograph in a popup window now immediately closes the window.
