New Updates …
We’ve not been idling over the summer, we have been incredibly busy despite the credit crunch! I must firstly apologise for not keeping the blog up to date. There is a new version of the Windows software on the downloads page that has some minor feature enhancements, and a new version of the web-based software will be available next week.
Also on the downloads page are new versions of the manuals. They are much more comprehensive and tell you in detail how to complete many of the tasks that you might normally call support about.
We’re Back and Busy!
Focus on Imaging 2009 is already proving a great success for us here at Phosys. Firstly, a big welcome to all the new customers that have signed up both at the show and on the telephone since!
I’d like to also pass on my thanks to the 90+ customers who visited our stand to meet the team, say hello and give us constructive comments and ideas. Or who even just sat down rested their legs and had a chat. Some of you even helped with the sales and persuaded people to sign up!
It was great to see you all and the amount of you who queued and waited while we spoke to potential customers just say hello was heart-warming!
Nick, Bryn and Amy are working hard on sites while I’m adding in lots of new developments to the software over the next few months. Watch this space for details! We’re also making a concerted effort to keep the blog more regularly updated as we introduce more features.
Focus On Imaging 2009
It’s been an incredibly busy first two days at the show. On Saturday, Nick, Bryn and Myself spent the afternoon building the stand, and Mark joined us later on in the afternoon.
Sunday went so quickly, and the afternoon flew by because we hardly stopped from midday to late afternoon. Today (Monday) we’ve spoken to so many of our existing customers – thank you all for visiting our stand and giving us such positive feedback. It is lovely to know that the work that we put in getting your sites exactly how you want them is so appreciated.
I’d also like to take this opportunity to welcome all the new customers who have signed up with us so far in the first two days of the show, and how much we look forward to working with you in the future.

A New Designer!
Please give a warm welcome to our new designer, Amy, who started on Monday. At first she’ll be helping out with technical support and generally learning the system before moving on to customer projects with Nick and Bryn on the design team.
Phosys is proving such a popular tool for professional photographers that the investment in new staff before Focus On Imaging 2009 was a necessity.
Phosys in the Snow!
I just thought I’d take this opportunity to put up a couple of pictures of the office (please remember that I’m not a photographer) because the office looked so beautiful in the heavy snow this morning.
I was the first person in this morning, and the car park was empty apart from one car that was there over the weekend, there was about 5″ of snow on the ground and Skipwith Common (which our office is on the edge of) is an area of outstanding natural beauty. Deer, rabbits, squirrels, hawks and other wonderful creatures are always wandering and flying around our windows.
